Work Pattern: 2 days in the office, 36 hours a week
PAYE Pay Rate: £323.02 per day
Main Purpose:
Manage high-risk building safety and fire safety contracts across a large residential housing portfolio, ensuring effective delivery, compliance, cost control and contractor performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and procure social housing contracts, particularly fire safety contracts.
- Oversee EWS investigations, FRAEWs, spandrel panels, façades and FRAs.
- Manage contractors, KPIs, budgets, costs and programme delivery.
- Lead tendering, specifications, evaluation, award and mobilisation.
- Manage contractual disputes, legal claims and risks.
- Support Cladding Safety Scheme and other funding applications.
- Work with residents, contractors, consultants, legal teams and senior stakeholders.
Essential Experience:
- Strong Contracts Manager experience.
- Experience procuring and managing contracts within social housing.
- Experience managing fire safety contracts.
- Housing/building safety/construction experience.
- Knowledge of EWS, PAS 9980 and fire safety.
- Experience managing complex, high-risk projects and contractors.
- Strong commercial, financial, legal and stakeholder management skills.
