Job Details

Work Pattern: full office based, 35 hour per week

PAYE Pay Rate: £15.81 per hour

Main Purpose

To coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance works, ensuring jobs are allocated efficiently and appointments are arranged within agreed timescales. The role requires strong organizational skills and previous experience scheduling repairs or maintenance services.

Typical Day

  • Schedule and allocate repairs and maintenance jobs to operatives and contractors.
  • Arrange appointments with residents, customers and contractors.
  • Monitor outstanding repairs and follow up on delayed or incomplete works.
  • Manage changes, cancellations and urgent repair requests.
  • Update scheduling and repairs systems accurately.
  • Liaise with operatives, contractors and internal teams to ensure works are completed.
  • Respond to customer queries regarding appointments and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure information is updated promptly.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience scheduling repairs or maintenance works.
  • Experience working within a repairs, maintenance, housing or property environment.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Confident communicating with customers, contractors and operational teams.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • Good IT and system skills
