About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Business Support Administrator to join a busy Council team on a 12-week temporary basis. This role provides vital administrative, clerical, and customer service support across multiple departments, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Handling incoming post and answering telephone enquiries from the public
  • Processing applications and updating internal systems and records
  • Arranging interviews and supporting recruitment administration
  • Preparing Committee agendas, documents, and reports for meetings
  • Supporting basic financial tasks such as invoice processing
  • Providing general office and clerical support across departments

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in administration and customer service
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • A professional, flexible, and “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
