Lancashire County Council are recruiting for a Paralegal (Public Rights of Way) working within the Highways and Environment Department
PARALEGAL PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE
Hours per week are 37
This will be a mix of working from County Hall, Preston and working from home.

Job purpose –

To assist with the general legal work of the team particularly relating to public rights of way matters.
Core tasks
Dealing with Public Rights of Way matters within the team particularly the submission of matters to the Planning inspectorate.
Preparation of electronic bundles of documents for Planning Inspectorate as per their checklist.
Providing to support and assistance to Solicitors in the team including three fully remote Public Rights of Way locum Solicitors.
Retrieval of paper files, searching for documentation on paper and electronic files, scanning.
Drafting Orders and Notices.
Such other duties and responsibilities of a similar grade and nature as may be required.

Umbrella hourly rate – £16.51
