vale of Glamorgan Council have a new exciting role out as a practitioner manager following significant investment into Children and Young People Services, we have further resourced our teams and enhanced our services for children in need of care and support. We now have two well-resourced Family Support Teams dedicated to working in partnership with families to achieve best outcomes.

Vale of Glamorgan Council have doubled our Practitioner Manager capacity in these teams, and are now seeking an agency worker to fill one of the new posts. The role would involving holding a small but complex caseload alongside supervising social workers, quality assuring written work and deputising for the team manager when required. There will be two Practitioner Managers in the team working under the supervision of the Team Manager. We are seeking a motivated and committed manager who is available to support staff face to face when required. We are also developing our services to support our bespoke strength-based approach ‘Building on Strengths’.
