Job Purpose
To increase recycling and reduce waste by communicating with the residents of Conwy.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for all aspects of recycling and waste minimization performance in an assigned community area.
2. Visit non-participating householders to provide advice and information on recycling.
3. Participate in the implementation of new schemes through the distribution of information literature and recycling containers.
4. Advise the general public and other interested bodies on recycling and waste minimisation in writing, in person or by telephone.
5. Respond to service requests for new or replacement recycling containers.
Someone with a good understanding of sustainable waste management, recycling and other related environmental issues would be ideal for this role.
Umbrella hourly rate : £15
