Resourcing Assistant – 12 months fixed term contract based at Force Headquarters, Nettleham (Full Time)

About the Role

We are seeking two friendly and organised Resourcing Assistants to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career or looking to build experience in HR and Resourcing. You’ll support the Resourcing Team in delivering a smooth and positive experience for everyone involved in the hiring process. The positions are fixed term for 12 months initially, with the successful persons covering 37 hours per week at our force Headquarters in Nettleham, Lincolnshire.

What You’ll Be Doing

  •          Supporting the Recruitment Team with day-to-day admin tasks
  •          Helping organise recruitment activities across a range of roles, including police officers, staff roles, and specialist positions
  •          Creating and sending emails, letters, and other documents
  •          Keeping records up to date, both on computer systems
  •          Responding to basic queries via phone, email and in person, or passing them to the right person
  •          Assisting with general tasks to help the team run efficiently

What We’re Looking For in You;

  •          A Level 2 qualification in Business Administration (or similar), or some experience in an admin role
  •          Some experience with administrative tasks, such as organising information or supporting a team
  •          Comfortable entering and finding information on computer systems
  •          Experience in a customer-focused environment, or confidence in dealing with people
  •          A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
  •          Good organisation skills, with the ability to manage your time and tasks
  •         Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  •         IT skills and confidence using everyday systems and tools
  •          A team player who enjoys supporting colleagues
