– Extensive experience delivering Occupational Therapy services to disabled individuals and their families/carers, including assessments, equipment provision, and major adaptations.
– Strong knowledge of Care Act legislation relevant to health and social care, covering equipment, housing, adaptations, and safeguarding. – Leadership and supervision of up to 8 Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Community Care Officers, ensuring professional governance and high service performance. – Mentorship and role modelling, supporting colleagues through advice, quality assurance, guidance, and promoting collaborative problem-solving for optimal citizen outcomes. – Expertise in complex assessments and care and support planning, particularly where safety is impacted by equipment or adaptation needs, supporting less experienced practitioners. – Active contributor to service development, driving best practice in social care through proactive engagement and innovation. – Full time 37 hours. Minimum of one day a week based at Loxley House, Nottingham.
