Job title: Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Across three locations, 44 York St, Twickenham, Guildhall 2, Kingston and Maidenhead Town Hall
Length of placement: 6 months with potential extension
Hybrid working: Minimum 2 days in the office per week
Umbrella rate: £36.40 per hour
Requirements for the role:
-
Must have up to date Employee Relations (ER) /employment Law knowledge.

Must have ER experience demonstrated with proven direct complex case management and advisory coaching support to HR colleagues, leaders, line managers and employees.

Demonstrable experience of managing non-complex and complex ER cases from inception to satisfactory conclusion.

Must have experience with working with Unions.
About the role:
The main purpose of the HR Business Partner (BP) is to support our operational and strategic leaders to undertake complex employee relations, change management, or other people management activities through strong guidance and advice, in line with legislation and good practice.
Managers are decision makers and the role of the BP is to coach, educate and advise to ensure decisions are fair, well evidenced
and protect the aims of the business. This partnering role will undertake a variety of tasks, including:

providing challenge and solutions to managers

working with finance leads when preparing for organisational workforce changes

supporting the Strategy and Transformation service on delivering workforce changes fairly and legally and advising the L&D and OD teams when support is needed

policy reviews
-
leading on managing TUPE in or out of the Company

supporting managers and colleagues with employee relations activities
-
having oversight of all employee relations case work within AfC.
The role will work with other key stakeholders i.e. legal colleagues or Union colleagues to build effective and honest relationships to develop and resolve people related activities. Accurate reporting will be a priority for the team and the role will work with colleagues to report on a wide range of people data that can inform business decisions.
