About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated Head of Curriculum & Quality – SEND Manager to lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff within our SEND provision.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing a range of programmes across the curriculum, ensuring they align with key performance indicators (KPIs), the College’s strategic priorities, and the mission of both the College and the Council.
The postholder will lead, contribute to, and drive the improvement, growth and development of our SEND curriculum, playing a key role in ensuring the sustainability and effective delivery of allocated curriculum areas.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, growth and sustainability of a viable SEND curriculum, driving continuous improvement across allocated areas and contributing to the overall success of the College.

Ensure effective quality control by managing Tutors, Assessors and IQAs (including sessional tutors), supporting them to consistently deliver exceptional learning experiences.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with employers, community organisations and other stakeholders in support of the Curriculum Mission and Vision, the College’s Strategic Plan and the Council’s Corporate Plan.
