PAYE rate – £18.92 an hour

Role Purpose

The aim of the role is to undertake the necessary duties to ensure that Haringey Learns functions effectively as an accredited examination centre with multiple awarding bodies.

The postholder will support:

  1. Managers and teaching staff in the effective administration of examinations and accreditation processes and the collection and recording of management and learner information.

  2. Liaising with learners to complete missing data, correcting errors on Learner Track, and undertaking destination follow-ups.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Managing the examination entry process, including gathering information from teaching staff to ensure that learner examination entries are made correctly and on time, making amendments or withdrawals where required.

  2. Processing and recording all examination requests for all subject areas in line with externally set examination dates to comply with awarding body deadlines and requirements, and disseminating certificates.

  3. Working with Curriculum Managers and the Finance and MIS Officer to ensure that achievements of qualifications are recorded on the Management Information System (Learner Track) in time for ESFA data return deadlines.

  4. Organising examination stationery and materials, including the timely receipt of examination papers and the collection and dispatch of examination scripts in line with awarding body regulations.

  5. Planning and agreeing termly and annual invigilation timetables with relevant staff and ensuring that all invigilators are trained in line with requirements.

  6. Keeping up to date with changes and updates from awarding bodies to ensure the centre remains compliant with regulations.

  7. Maintaining accurate learner records and ensuring all relevant information is captured and updated on the MIS.

  8. Supporting data collection and reporting requirements, ensuring information is available for internal monitoring and external funding returns.

  9. Liaising with internal teams, learners, and external awarding bodies to ensure smooth administration of examinations and learner data.

  10. Ensuring confidentiality and data protection requirements are followed when handling learner information.
