Job Opportunity: Finance, Compliance & Monitoring Officer

Join our Programme Management team as a Finance, Compliance & Monitoring Officer to support the delivery of key projects. You’ll be responsible for managing financial claims, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring compliance with governance requirements, and providing guidance to project applicants. This role offers the opportunity to work with various stakeholders and contribute to the success of external funding streams.

Key Duties:

  • Manage financial reporting and forecasting for projects

  • Ensure financial compliance and robust governance

  • Advise project applicants on financial processes and targets

  • Coordinate funding approval processes and maintain audit trails

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners

Requirements:

  • Strong financial management and compliance knowledge

  • Experience with government funding streams and financial systems

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Qualifications & Skills:

    • Degree/HND in finance or an equivalent qualification (NVQ Level 4 or higher)

    • Experience with financial systems and frameworks (Microsoft Office, financial software)

    • Knowledge of local government and public sector funding processes

    • Strong organisational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills

    HYBRID WORK 2 DAYS IN OFFICE.
