About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to operate within a business partnering model, providing expert advice and support to managers across a full range of employment matters.

You will play a key role in supporting employee relations, delivering change programmes, and enabling managers to make informed, fair, and legally compliant decisions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality HR advice and guidance to managers on employment matters
  • Support and coach managers on employee relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and redundancy
  • Assist with change management activities such as restructures and TUPE transfers
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends and support effective decision-making
  • Contribute to HR projects and organisational initiatives
  • Support the development and delivery of HR policies and training
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders, including trade unions

About You

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience supporting managers with complex employee relations cases
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to analyse data and present clear insights
  • Organised and able to manage competing priorities

Qualifications

  • A Level (or equivalent) – Essential
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) – Desirable
  • Degree (or equivalent) – Desirable
