Job Details

Main Purpose of the Role

Provide administrative and customer service support to the Housing Team, helping to manage tenancies, empty properties, customer enquiries, income administration and housing records while delivering an excellent service to tenants and residents.

Typical Day

  • Respond to customer calls, emails and enquiries.
  • Process tenancy changes and new tenancies.
  • Arrange property viewings and sign-ups.
  • Update housing records and IT systems.
  • Process payments, invoices and paperwork.
  • Support estate inspections and tenant engagement activities.
  • Work with Housing Officers and other council teams.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to priorities work and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and confidential information.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs, including English and Math’s.

Job Overview

Client – North Northamptonshire Council

Location – Municipal Offices

PAYE Pay Rate – £15.06

Job Type – 6 months contract (Possible extension)

Work Pattern – Office based 5 days a week – 37 hours a week – 9am till 5.30pm

(hybrid working once fully trained and competent, but this cannot be guaranteed)
