Main Purpose of the Role
To support the Housing Services Manager in delivering housing improvement projects, including reviewing Independent Living Services, Lifeline services, tenancy conditions, rents and service charges. The role involves researching improvements, consulting with tenants and stakeholders, preparing reports, and helping implement new ways of working.
Typical Day
- Managing housing projects, plans and risks.
- Carrying out research and analysing information.
- Preparing reports, recommendations and project documents.
- Consulting with tenants, staff and external partners.
- Updating policies, procedures and service information.
- Maintaining records, databases and project documentation.
- Supporting service improvements and staff with changes.
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in social housing or a related field.
- Project management and service review experience.
- Strong communication skills with tenants, staff and partners.
- Ability to research issues and develop recommendations.
- Good report writing and IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisation skills and ability to manage deadlines.
- Understanding of confidentiality, data protection and safeguarding.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Client – Rugby Borough Council
Location – Town Hall
37 hours a week
Work pattern – Mon- Fri (9am till 5:30pm)
PAYE Pay Rate – £13.69
