Work Pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 8:30am–4:30pm; Friday 8:30am–4:00pm
PAYE Pay Rate: £27 per hour
Main Purpose of the Role
To carry out electrical remedial, testing and inspection works across social housing properties within North Northamptonshire, including occupied and void properties.
Typical Duties
- Carry out electrical remedial works in occupied and void properties.
- Complete testing and inspection of electrical installations.
- Undertake rewire works in void properties where required.
- Identify faults and complete necessary repairs.
- Work safely in occupied residential properties.
- Complete relevant paperwork and electrical certification.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota, 1 week in every 4 weeks.
- Work across the North Northamptonshire area, mainly Kettering and Corby.
Essential Requirements
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2382 – 18th Edition.
- City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing or equivalent.
- Proven testing and inspection experience.
- Experience working within social housing or domestic properties.
- Willingness to undertake CAT B Asbestos Awareness training or provide existing certification.
- Ability to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
Additional Information
- Call-out: 1 week in every 4 weeks
- Own vehicle preferred, with mileage claimed at 45p per mile, or company vehicle available.
- Own standard power tools are beneficial.
