Work Pattern:  20-hour per week

PAYE Pay Rate: £14.59 per hour

Main Purpose

To provide professional reception, customer service and administrative support across the Council’s business centres, assisting visitors, tenants, contractors and internal teams.

Typical Day

  • Meet and greet visitors and deal with enquiries.
  • Manage telephone calls, post and general correspondence.
  • Arrange meeting and catering bookings.
  • Conduct building viewings and tenant inductions.
  • Issue keys and access fobs and complete tenant checks.
  • Liaise with contractors and IT support providers.
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices.
  • Complete general administration using Word and Excel.
  • Input and maintain information on internal systems.
  • Assist with opening and closing the centre and alarm procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous reception, administration or customer service experience.
  • Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable dealing with visitors, tenants and contractors.
  • Able to work across both Corby locations.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to working hours.
