Camden council are looking for senior planning officer To assess a range of complex planning applications, including the production of reports and appeal statements within specified timescales.
- To take part in pre/post application discussions relating to planning applications and planning appeals.
- To respond to customers through a range of channels (for example telephone and in writing) within specified timescales.
- Undertake a full range of planning enforcement work including the production of reports and witness statements and ensuring the legal position of the Council is protected.
- To respond to customers through a range of channels (for example telephone and in writing) within specified timescales.
- Completion of recognised degree, Diploma or other Royal Town Planning Institute exemption qualification or similar non-recognised planning qualification subject to formal assessment.
- Eligibility for membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute
- Thorough awareness of current planning issues and a working knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Experience in Development Control including dealing with complex planning applications and appeals
Development Management Planner (Applications)
- Experience in Development Management including dealing with complex planning applications and appeals
Development Management Planner (Enforcement)
Experience in Planning Enforcement including investigating complaints, serving enforcement notices, preparing witness statements and dealing with appeals.
