System Support Officer

Job Details

DUTIES

  • Support and administer management information systems as established within the department to include management of data within and between interfacing systems.

 

  • To take a lead role pushing forward with the implementation of new technology to assist with the delivery of operational requirements.

 

  • Change management of IT systems in line with current and future requirements of the department including system updates as required such as archiving and recharge updates.

 

  • Production of performance management information as required by the department in line with corporate and departmental objectives and service plans.

 

  • Specification of changes to current systems in line with the business needs of the department, to include Schedule of Rates, recharges and archiving updates, Northgate, Consol, Keystone and other I.T. systems and databases.

 

  • Production of procedures, user guides and guidance in respect of the management information systems operating within the department to include web based support.

 

  • Provide training to users of the management information systems.

 

  • Maintain and administer a user / administer network to aid the development of the management information systems.
