Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of software and technology-focused projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

This role requires a confident and proactive project leader who is comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels, driving accountability across project teams, and navigating changing business requirements. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, delivery-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage project plans throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and escalations, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
  • Drive project delivery by holding team members accountable for agreed actions and deadlines.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate the impact of changing requirements on project scope, timelines, and resources.
  • Lead project meetings, workshops, and presentations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful project implementation and transition to operational support teams.
  • Develop and deliver training, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions where required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to organisational quality standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support project and business objectives.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, or Delivery Manager role.
  • Proven experience delivering software, technology, systems, or IT-related projects.
  • Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive project delivery in environments with changing priorities and requirements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous experience within insurance, managed care, healthcare, or regulated environments would be advantageous.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Relevant Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) are desirable.

Working Arrangement

  • Fully remote position.
  • Company IT equipment will be provided upon commencement.
  • Occasional travel may be required depending on business needs.
