Early Years Educator
- Provided high-quality care and early education for children aged 0–7 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Planned and delivered engaging activities to support children’s learning, development, interests, and individual needs.
- Conducted observations and assessments, maintaining accurate developmental records and contributing to children’s progress reviews.
- Supported children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development within a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
- Assisted with behaviour management and implemented individual support strategies for children with additional needs.
- Worked collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support children’s wellbeing and development.
- Supported children through key transitions, including settling into the setting and preparing for school.
- Provided personal care, including feeding, toileting, nappy changing, dressing, and promoting independence in self-care skills.
- Administered medication and supported first aid procedures in line with organisational policies and training.
- Followed safeguarding and child protection procedures, reporting concerns appropriately to ensure children’s safety and welfare.
- Assisted with organising and supervising educational outings and activities, ensuring health and safety requirements were met.
- Supported children with mobility, personal care, and individual movement programmes where required.
- Maintained positive relationships with families and contributed to a welcoming and inclusive childcare environment.
