About the Role

We are looking for a Job Analyst to support the fair and consistent evaluation of roles across the organisation. You will lead on job analysis activities, ensuring roles are accurately assessed under the NJC Job Evaluation Scheme, supporting equal pay and organisational consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct job analysis interviews with employees, managers, and trade union representatives
  • Analyse job roles and complete job evaluation documentation with supporting evidence
  • Provide advice and guidance on job evaluation processes and best practice
  • Support and advise job evaluation panels, including presenting findings where required
  • Deliver briefings or training sessions on job evaluation processes
  • Contribute to the consistency and development of job evaluation practices across the organisation

About You

  • Experience in HR, job evaluation, or organisational analysis
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of job evaluation frameworks (e.g. NJC, Hay) is highly desirable
  • Understanding of equal pay principles and organisational structures
