About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team, providing high-quality integrated day care and early education for children from birth to 7 years. You will work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality early years care and education in accordance with EYFS requirements
  • Plan and support a rich and engaging curriculum, including daily, weekly, and termly planning tailored to individual children’s needs and interests
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, maintaining accurate developmental records
  • Work closely with key workers to support smooth transitions from home to setting and from setting to school
  • Promote positive behaviour and implement strategies to support children with additional needs
  • Provide physical care including feeding, toileting, dressing, changing, comforting, and administering medication where required
  • Support safeguarding procedures and report any child protection concerns to senior staff
  • Assist in organising safe and engaging outings for children’s learning and enjoyment
  • Support children in developing independence and self-help skills, including personal hygiene and toileting
  • Carry out basic first aid duties (training provided) and respond appropriately in emergency situations, including accompanying children to medical appointments if required
  • Support individual movement programmes under the guidance of other professionals
  • Work flexibly within a shift pattern between 8am and 6pm

  • Ability to follow procedures, guidance, and care plans accurately
